WHAT TO EXPECT

WHERE DO I PARK?

When it comes to parking, we’ve got you covered! We have plenty of parking available in our front and back carparks. Best of all, the parking is free! Should you require mobility parking, spaces can be found near the church entrance. Off-street parking is also available.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A CHURCH SERVICE?

Our Sunday services start at 10am and typically run for an hour and a half.

Our friendly door greeters will be your first point of contact. As you enter church you will be warmly welcomed and handed a newsletter. Our RoskillTalk newsletter highlights what’s going on in the life of the church and our wider family.

At 10am everyone will be welcomed to church before the band leads us in a couple of songs.

Soon after this the children will be invited to head out to their programmes. We have programmes for children aged 3-12. A creche is available in the foyer for children under 3 years old.

The rest of the service is a combination of prayer, opening the Bible together, a sermon, and reflections on what we’ve heard.

Once the service is over, you're welcome to stick around for a hot drink, and a chat. We’d love to know more about you!

WHAT'S THE SINGING ALL ABOUT?

The Bible is filled with many accounts of people singing out to God in praise and worship. Regardless of the type of week we’ve had, singing together provides an opportunity to put it all aside and focus on Jesus.

WHAT IS THE LORD'S SUPPER?

The Lord's supper is a symbolic meal followers of Jesus take together in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice. We share in the Lord's supper on the first Sunday of every month. We invite anyone who confesses Jesus to be their Lord and Saviour to join us in this meal.

WHERE DO I SIT?

Anywhere you like!

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Whatever you are comfortable in! We do not have a formal dress code, however we do ask that you do not wear anything that could be seen as offensive.

WHO CAN I ASK FOR HELP?

Our church is filled with friendly people who are happy to point you in the right direction. Our staff are also around to answer questions and show you around. Photos of our staff are available in the foyer on the noticeboard.

WILL I NEED TO PAY MONEY TO COME?

No! The Good News of Jesus is free for all who are willing to accept and hear. There is a dedicated time in our service where our regular attendees have an opportunity to give towards the wider work we are committed to doing as church. When you are visiting please let the bag pass you by as there is no expectation for you to give.

ROSKILL KIDS

We believe that the Good News of Jesus is for all ages and stages!

Roskill Kids is our Sunday morning programme for children aged 3-12. Our aim is to help children discover who Jesus is, through teachings from the Word and meaningful discussions.

On Sunday morning we run 3 programmes:

Sparks | Pre-School Kids aged 3-4 years

Explosions | Primary School students

Ignite | Intermediate School students

During their programme our kids sing songs, listen to a teaching, and break into smaller groups where they chat about what they have just heard. They also play games and get creative with crafts and activities.

We do our best to create lessons that follow the Bible passages of the main service. This allows families to continue the conversation outside the church walls.

A creche is available in the foyer for parents with children under 3 years. Adults can watch and listen to the sermon, while the children are playing.
